Toilet Paper Mummy Wrap
Here's one to try together!
Wrap your partner up like a silly mummy, then burst out with a mighty roar!
Reviewed by our team.
Safety first
- paper over nose or mouth could block breathing
- tight wrapping could cause tripping or falls
- stiff-legged walking in a room with obstacles may cause trips
- wrapping near legs can restrict movement
What you need
- Phone, 1 timer or phone
- Laundry basket, 1 (optional)
- Toilet paper, 2 to 3 rolls
How to do it
Grown-up prep: Clear a path across the room so there is nothing to trip on. Keep a close eye on the wrapping so nothing covers faces.
- Find a partner and choose who will be the mummy first.
- Mummy, stand tall and still with your arms out wide.
- Wrapper, start at the ankles and wrap round and round.
- Keep wrapping up the legs, tummy and arms to the shoulders.
- Stop at the shoulders. Keep the mummy's face totally uncovered! Ask: Why do you think we leave the face free?
- Start the two minute timer, and mummy, walk stiff-legged across the room!
- Now burst free! Roar and rip the paper off! Ask: How loud was your roar?
- Swap places, and let the new wrapper and mummy play again.
- Now show your friends, or wrap more! Who will be the best mummy next? Ask: Who else could you wrap up next time?
Play it again
- Mummy parade: wrap everyone and march in a line while groaning.
- Fast wrap: see how much you can cover before one minute ends.
- Statue mummy: the mummy freezes when the music stops and moves when it starts.
