How to do it
Grown-up prep: Nothing to gather! Just find a cozy spot where everyone can see each other, like the dinner table or the car.
- Sit in a circle so everyone can see each other.
- Pick who starts with the letter A.
- Say something you are thankful for that starts with your letter.
- Stuck? Everyone else gives a hint, not the answer.
- Keep going around, one letter each, all the way to Z.
- Get silly for tricky letters like Q and X!
- Round two: only people or moments from this year.
- Which thank-you was your favorite? Who will you teach this game to next? Ask: Which answer made you smile the most, and who else should play this with us?
